As the incoming principal, I am excited to take on the task of growing our students and holding them accountable to the potential they all encompass. As a former TCHS Senior English teacher, I expanded my role into one that created an impact both inside and outside of the classroom. My first priority was to ensure that students knew that I cared about not only their ability to learn, but their ability to survive in a world that is sometimes unforgiving. My belief is all the more important in today’s world. My role has changed, but my mission has not. I will work to ensure that all students are moving toward a standard of excellence that reaches beyond their expectations. I realize that my belief in each and every student’s ability is one that I approach with ease, but the challenge comes in making every effort to ensure that students believe in themselves. I do not stand in my belief alone, our faculty, staff, parents, and community will continue to join together in doing whatever it takes to elevate each and every individual child to a standard of excellence. This will continue every Monday until December 14th. The only exception will be Monday, November 23rd. School will be closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday. The meals will be shelf stable or frozen. Some items will require refrigeration or freezing until ready to eat or reheat. Storing and heating instruction will be given with each meal. You will receive 10 cartons of milk with each child's meals. If you are picking up for multiple children and do not have refrigerator space for the quantity of milk, you may decline a portion of it. The drive-thru pick up will be from 9:30 am until 10:30 am near the cafeteria. Signs will be on site. Please DO NOT call the school office or cafeteria if you miss the assigned day and time. You will be able to pick up the following Monday. If you miss picking up the child(ren)'s meals for two consecutive weeks, you will need to call the number listed below.
